With the bc original Loamer wheelset + XD freehub you are fully flexible: Although it is delivered with a Shimano freehub fitted, a SRAM XD freehub is also included so that you can switch between the two systems as you wish. We took no risks in the design and production of this MTB wheelset. The components were precisely matched to each other, the wheels were laced by hand in Germany and extensive tests were carried out - all to guarantee a long service life and reliability!

In recent years, MTB wheels and tyres have become larger and heavier, resulting in a slower ride. We at bc want to counteract this development with the Loamer. The light and stable wheels in 27.5 and 29 inch make your MTB agile and manoeuvrable again, and at a very fair price! Thanks to the special rim design, however, the low weight is not at the expense of stability. The wheelset has been extensively tested under the toughest conditions. Whether it's on rough trails through Canada or on the endless singletracks through the Himalayas - this wheelset knows how to impress. What does Loamer mean?
In mountain biking, " loam" refers to fresh, loose forest soil, which is the equivalent to powder in winter sports. Fresh loam tracks are often also called Loamer and offer mountain bikers an extra bit of grip and always leave a wide smiling face behind. That's exactly what the Loamer wheelset by bc original does - have fun!

Note:

Due to the 15 mm axle, you need an external toothed lockring to mount the front brake rotor.

Do you still have old 6-bolt brake rotors? No problem, thanks to the Center Lock adapter you can continue to use your old brake rotors.
