Very fragile. At the specified install torque, I could not get the headset preload without the expander sliding (yes, I used supplied carbon paste). With higher torque, the lower cone deforms and fails. I had to buy a similar expander from Specialized, but it's not perfect either, so I'm still searching for the ideal solution. Tune should redesign or offer a more robust version ... I can't imagine that would add more than 5 grams.
