How to redeem your voucher code
You can enter your voucher code at the final step of the checkout process. Here’s how it works:
- Go to checkout.
- Log in or continue as a guest.
- Select your delivery option.
- Choose your preferred payment method.
- In the “Review & submit” step, you’ll find the field to enter your voucher code.
Once you’ve entered your code, the voucher amount or discount will automatically be deducted from your total.

No problem, our Sale section offers hundreds of discounted items. You don’t need an extra code, as prices are already reduced.
FAQ – Vouchers & Discounts
How can I redeem my voucher?
Voucher codes can be entered at the final step of the checkout process.
You’ll find the field ‘Redeem code’ at the bottom of the ‘Review & submit’ page.
Once you click ‘Redeem’, the voucher amount will be applied immediately.
If your order total is lower than the voucher value, the remaining balance can be redeemed on your next order using the same code.
You can apply several voucher codes to one order by redeeming them one after another.
However, please note that only one partner voucher (e.g. from a subscription, event or similar promotion) can be used per order.
If you experience any issues redeeming your voucher, you can simply add the code in the order notes field, and our team will apply the discount manually afterwards.
How are vouchers delivered?
Our digital gift voucher is sent immediately after purchase by email as a PDF – ideal for last-minute gift ideas.
After purchase, you can also access and download your digital voucher in the Self-Service area.
To do so, open your account and view the order containing the voucher under ‘View all orders’.
Orders placed as a guest, or via PayPal Express or Amazon Pay, are not shown directly in your regular account.
However, you can use our guest order overview to view your order and download your digital voucher there.
Are vouchers tied to specific payment methods?
When purchasing value vouchers, there is currently a restriction: they can only be paid for using PayPal or Klarna Instant Transfer.
When redeeming a voucher in the shop, however, the payment method does not matter – you can use any available option.
How long is a voucher valid?
A value voucher is valid for 36 months from the date of issue – that is, the day you purchased it. Within this period, it can be redeemed at any time. After the validity period has expired, any remaining balance will be forfeited. A promo code, on the other hand, is only valid for a specific promotional period. Once expired, it can no longer be used and cannot be extended.
What happens if I return part of my order?
Refunds for value vouchers follow a set order: First, the amount paid via your selected payment method is refunded. Once that has been completed, your voucher will automatically be reactivated with the remaining balance.
Does my voucher expire if I cancel or return my order?
No need to worry – if you cancel or return an order that was paid with a voucher, the voucher will automatically be reactivated. You can then use the same code again for your next purchase.
What is the difference between a value voucher and a promo code?
A value voucher is a classic gift voucher that you can purchase directly in our shop. It is available in amounts between €10 and €250 and is sent to you immediately by email as a PDF – perfect for a last-minute gift. You can use value vouchers across the entire range on bike-components.de, either in full or in part. Any remaining balance stays on the same voucher code and can be used for future orders. If you cancel or return an order paid with a value voucher, it will automatically be reactivated and can be used again.
Promo codes work a little differently. They are issued as part of marketing campaigns, partner collaborations, or as goodwill gestures from our customer service team. Typical examples include newsletter sign-ups, social media campaigns, or partner codes from Sportograf or Delius Klasing (TOUR Magazine, BIKE Magazine & MYBIKE Magazine). They provide either a percentage discount or a fixed amount off but are almost always time-limited and subject to certain conditions such as a minimum order value. Promo codes also usually cannot be combined with other discount offers.
