Install your front wheel once more with ease with NEWMEN's TC Adapter.
When it was time to upgrade my Enduro rig with a RockShox Pike RCT3 fork, there was one small detail that continued to annoy me: the new Torque Cap dropouts.
Before, I could just put my front wheel in my fork easily. Line it up in the dropouts and screw in the thru-axle and I was done. However, now that RockShox has increased their dropout size to 31 mm, every time I put my non-Torque Cap wheels the axle no longer easily slides through. Every time I install the front wheel, I have to spend time moving it around in the dropouts so that the axle fits correctly and this really gets on my nerves.
I searched and searched and found manufactures who offered solutions, but prices between 15.15 € and 30 € seemed a little steep. Thank goodness NEWMEN has released that perfect solution to my problem and did it at a great price. Below you can see how to mount these nifty adapters so you can once again easily install your front wheel.
The difference between a hub with Torque Caps and one without.
First apply degreaser to a clean towel.
Clean the dropouts of any debris.
Remove the cover from the TC Adapter.
Now, stick it to the dropout.
Now, it's done!
