#ourseasonwithliteville: Our Liteville Riders

Three bikes for three riders. All of them are Litevilles and ready to shred. Get a perspective on who each rider is and why they chose each bike.

This year, Rainer, Julian and Amin are riding Liteville MTBs for the season. Because each of them are very different riders, each has chosen a different bike. Rainer is the wise shredder of the Liteville crew, Julian the Enduro / bike park purist and Amin the Downhill baller with World Cup experience. But we’ll let those three tell you more about their bikes.

You can follow them on Instagram and Facebook this season under #ourseasonwithliteville!

Rainer

Hey everyone, my name is Rainer and I work on the bc Customer Service Team. I spend most of my time putting together custom dream bikes, so if you’re in the market, hit me up. ;) I’ve been riding MTBs for about 17 years. I started in the Freeride and Downhill disciplines, but today I spend most of my time riding and racing Enduro.

This year I’ll be taking my Liteville 301 MK14 to various TrailTrophy races, the Megavalance Alpe d´Huez, and of course on my local trails. It was an easy decision for me to go with a 301 because I’ve been riding them since the MK10 versions, and I know how great the bike is.

The MK14 is just the next addition of an already great bike.

The 301 is perfect for Enduro races.

My 301 build is generally oriented on descents, but the all-round geometry makes it great for long day rides.

For racing I need a light and agile bike that gets me uphill, but allows me to bomb down the trail with its 160 mm of travel.

It is built up with a SRAM X01 Eagle drivetrain, a RockShox Deluxe rear shock, FOX 36 Float fork, Syntace C33i carbon wheels and Magura MT Trail carbon brakes. Weighing in at 13.2 kg, it’s definitely ready to shred. I can’t wait to get riding this year!

Julian

Heyo, my name is Julian and I work as a Brand Manager here at bc. When I’m biking, I can’t get enough of flowy trails and technical descents. Of course, hitting up a few bike parks is always a good time.

A great first race for Julian.

Because this is my first racing season, every single event will be a highlight. I am especially excited for the TrailTrophy races in Andreasberg, Flims-Laax and Kronplatz. Of course the Megavalance in Alpe d´Huez is going to be a really big ride.

The Liteville 601 MK4 is my ideal MTB. It has enough travel for the gnarliest downhills, but it can still climb like a mountain goat. Perfect for my type of Enduro riding.

I’m not really sure how Rainer got me to agree to it, but hey, new experiences are good right? The only goal I have set for this season is to have a blast with my bc crew and spend as much time on my 601 riding great trails as I can!

Amin

What’s up y’all? My name is Amin and I’ve been riding Downhill races for 9 years now. Last year, I finally realized my dream of riding in a Downhill World Cup and I did this in Andorra. It was a really great experience and has me pumped for this season.

This year I am riding the Liteville 901 and spending some time training on the H-3 hardtail to get my condition up.

This year I’ll be taking part in a few races, specifically the German Championship in Tabarz and Crankworx in Innsbruck. I’m most excited for the various European Downhill Cup races, which are always a blast. This season is going to be great!
