Manufacturer Suggested Usage:

For best results, you should eat a CLIF Bar one to three hours before your workout with plenty of water. This prevents hunger pangs and provides your muscles with the energy they need. On longer, less intense tours, e.g. hiking or cycling, you can also have a CLIF Bar during your sessions to satisfy your hunger pangs and replenish your carbohydrate stores. CLIF Bars are ideal snacks for refilling your energy tank in the middle of or after a strenuous day.
