The DT Swiss HU 1900 SPLINE 25 Boost Center Lock Disc 29" Wheelset - Touring wheels for your e-bike<\/h2>
The Hybrid Utility 1900 SPLINE 29" wheelset by DT Swiss was developed for electronic touring bikes with Boost frames. Thanks to the 25 mm inner rim width, you have a lot of leeway when it comes to your choice of tyre width. The 370 Boost hubs for centre-lock brake rotors are firmly connected to the rims via straight pull spokes and Pro-Lock nipples. This ensures stiff, durable and low-maintenance wheels. As icing on the cake, the rear hub has been outfitted with a Ratchet LN freehub, which can be serviced easily and without tools thanks to DT Swiss' no-tool concept.

HYBRID
To cope with the higher loads on e-bikes, the hubs, as the heart of the wheel, have a higher wall thickness and larger housings than usual hubs. The spoke holes have been additionally reinforced. The freehub rotor is made from steel and is equipped with 24-tooth ratchets, which are made from special hardened steel. Heavy-duty axles and oversized hubs allow the wheels to work while bearing high loads. The rims have thicker rim walls and offer plenty of traction. The connecting element between rim and hub, the spokes, have reinforced spoke heads and are made of special steel alloys in order to withstand stronger external forces.
Pro Lock
The nipple thread is coated with two-component adhesive to increase the durability of the wheels. It can still be re-trued several times without any problems, but the adhesive strength decreases slightly. The connection between the spoke and nipple cannot loosen by itself.
Ratchet LN
The Ratchet LN freehub is used to convert DT Swiss 370 hubs with pawls to a ratchet freehub. The advantage, compared to pawls, is the significantly larger contact surface with improved frictional connection. The seal attached to the freehub body, and not to the hub shell as usual, makes the freehub body easily replaceable. The modular design allows free selection of the engagement angle (18, 24, 36 or 54 teeth) and of the freehub body.
