The Pirelli Cinturato Gravel Hard Terrain TLR 28" folding tyre feels especially comfortable on firm ground and rolls in all weather conditions. With the flat, compact tread pattern you can quickly ride over rocky terrain. The low lugs improve smooth running and reduce their deformation when cornering on hard surfaces. Thanks to the special SpeedGRIP rubber compound used throughout the tyre, it delivers consistently good rolling performance, high tear resistance and excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions. High-strength nylon fabric throughout for extra cut and puncture protection.

The SpeedGRIP rubber compound is made for any weather. No matter whether you are riding on wet or dry surfaces, grip and handling are excellent. More efficient energy management also reduces rolling resistance to a level very close to that of pure Road tyres. Only this high-tech compound is used for the entire tyre, so there is no reduction in performance as wear increases, which is otherwise a critical problem with different compounds in several layers. In terms of grip, durability and roll efficiency, this compound is second to none.

Rollt gut auf Asphalt ab, schneller Gravelreifen. Gute Kurvenlage auch bei schneller Asphalt Abfahrt, sicheres Bremsen. Ausreichender Grip auf Schotter und Waldautobahn. Guter Pannenschutz ohne Probleme. Einfache Tubeless Montage auf DT Swiss felgen mit MucOff Milch. Sehr hoher Reifenverschleiss, nach 1.500km ist Hinterrad bereits ohne Mittenprofil. Zu teuer gemessen an der Laufleistung.

Dieser Reifen ist für grobe, feste Untergründe gedacht.
Dort ist er auch sehr gut unterwegs.
Auf Asphalt muß man Abstriche machen, da er darauf einen sehr schlechten Rollwiderstand hat.
Ich selbst fahre zu 70% auf Asphalt und habe diesen Reifen
darauf getestet. Man kann ihn fahren, aber hohe Geschwindigkeiten kann man nur mit Kraftaufwand erreichen.
Er klebt förmlich auf Asphalt. Nach 150km habe ich ihn wieder
demontiert.
Er ist auch für Gelände gedacht und ist auch vom Anbieter als
„Gravel“angegeben.
Ich will hiermit sagen. Wer viel auf Asphalt schnell unterwegs
sein will, dann besser auf einen anderen Reifen setzen.
Z.B. Continental Cyclocross Speed King CX Performance 35-622
Faltreifen. Er ist sehr schnell und nicht so teuer.
Allerdings ist derPannenschutz niedriger.

Jetzt überholt mich kein E-Bike mehr!
Habe den 35er Cinturato anstelle eines Marathon+ auf das Hinterrad meines Trektrekkingrades montiert. Dieser Reifen ist verdammt schnell. Er verleitet geradezu, aggressiv in die Kurbel zu latschen und die großen Gänge auszureizen. Läuft super auf Asphalt, Feld- und Waldwegen, Matsch ist nicht so sein Element.
Jetzt muss ich mir erst mal ein kleineres Ritzel besorgen;-)
