The SRAM Chain Gap Adjustment Gauge is used to correctly adjust the rear derailleur. To do this, place the template on the upper pulley. Then turn the B adjustment screw on the rear derailleur until the longest teeth of the largest sprocket of the cassette are aligned with the sprocket outline of the tool.
