Superlight™ Rear Triangle System
The Superlight rear triangle system is all about efficiency and weight savings. Fewer moving parts are used compared to the proven VPP linkage design, which keeps the overall weight low. The rather flat spring characteristic ensures low anti-squat and provides traction at the rear wheel, which reduces the effort required for pedalling and generates propulsion. In order to achieve a balanced ratio of flex, shock absorption and durability despite the lack of a lower link, the carbon layup was optimised and specially developed for the Superlight system.
