The Shimano FD-U6000 front derailleur from the CUES series was developed for mountain bikes with Linkglide drivetrains. It is suitable for 2x10-speed and 2x11-speed derailleurs and impresses with its smooth, quiet operation for sporty trail riding. The model has a total capacity of 14 teeth and is designed for cranks with a maximum of 40 teeth on the large chainring. It is compatible with both the standard 48.8 mm chainline and the Boost 51.8 mm chainline and fits chainstay angles from 64 to 69 degrees. For mounting, you have the choice between bottom bracket (E-Type), directly on the frame (Direct Mount) or clamp (Mid Clamp). All versions feature the Side-Swing design, which brings greater tyre clearance and more shifting performance with lower operating forces. FD-U6000 is made of robust steel combined with lightweight aluminium.

Side-Swing
The Shimano Side-Swing front derailleurs are controlled from the front (Front-Pull), which allows for much more efficient cable routing. This significantly improves shifting performance, especially when shifting to the large chainring - with lower operating forces. Other advantages include increased tyre clearance thanks to the slimmed-down design and noise reduction thanks to the optimised chainstay angle. In addition, Side-Swing technology favours the construction of frames with shorter chainstays, which simplify the control of the bike.
