Buy the sealed end caps from Shimano in packs of 100 if you need more. They are fitted with an O-ring that repels dirt and measure 6 mm and 4 mm in diameter (outside and inside respectively). Use the plastic end caps with Shimano SIS-SP40 and SP41 shift cable housings.
