The Specialized Demo Race aluminium frame with 200 mm travel offers you an unshakeable foundation for your downhill racer. It was designed to combine a 29" front wheel with a 27.5" rear wheel for the best combination of traction and handling. Thanks to the adjustable dropouts, you can also ride it with two twenty-niners. The Demo's chassis has been optimised with regard to the rear wheel axle to avoid getting stuck when hitting obstacles, and to maintain high speeds at all times. The frame comes in a set with a saddle, a seatpost and the ÖHLINS TTX 22 M. Thanks to the extra-strong trunnion mount and external low speed compression and rebound adjustment, you'll feel right at home on the most demanding trails with this steel coil shock. No wonder the Demo Race has already celebrated victories in both the Downhill World Cup as well as the World Championships.

Technology:

FSR
The Specialized FSR linkage design is based on a four-joint design with Horst Link in the chainstay, which separates the seat stay from the main pivot point of the rear triangle. This allows the pedal and brake force to be decoupled from the suspension, so that the compression and rebound are solely dependent on the nature of the terrain. This not only converts more energy into forward drive which is direct and without rocking, but also leads to more traction and thus more control. In addition, the FSR system can be fine-tuned to all the possible areas of applications and terrains.
