The Fast-Adapting-System (FAS) strap can be infinitely adjusted to the head and allows for a firm, secure fit. This way, the helmet remains firmly on the head and protects it even in extreme situations such as falls.
IAS Adjustment System
With the uvex IAS system, helmets can be individually adjusted in width with millimetre precision and in no time at all. The headband stays comfortable and allows good ventilation of the head.
MIPS
MIPS stands for "Multi Directional Impact Protection System," and describes a movable protective layer. It protects the brain from an oblique impact. The principle of the natural low-friction layer of the brain is adapted in order to minimise the forces that occur.
