DT Swiss XM 1700 SPLINE 30 Boost centre lock disc 29" wheelset - for pure All Mountain fun

The XM 1700 SPLINE wheelset from DT Swiss convinces All Mountain riders downhill and uphill with robustness and lightness. The sturdy SPLINE construction with reinforced 29" rims, straight pull spokes and the proven 350 hub makes the foundations of your MTB particularly durable. Together with 30 mm wide rims, the Boost hub leaves enough room for wide tyres. The freehub is a ratchet freehub with 36 teeth. This way your pedalling power is converted into propulsion in the best possible way and unwanted idling is avoided. Due to the centre lock disc brake mount, you have control of your bike in every riding situation.

Intended use - Category 4:
Suitable for use in very rough terrain with jumps of up to approx. 120 cm in height and speeds of up to 40 km/h. Very good riding technique is required. The components must be checked for damage after each ride.

Ratchet System:
The robust and reliable star ratchets freehub system can be maintained easily and quickly. The no-tool concept contributes to this, because it allows disassembly without any tools. The freehub has two discs which engage simultaneously. This means that the contact surface is large and the point load is kept small, which exonerates the material and allows the freehub to work particularly reliably and precisely.

SPLINE:
Straight pull hubs, straight spokes and strong rims result in a durable wheel. It can therefore be reliably used in training and competition.

Pro Lock:
The nipple thread is coated with two-component adhesive to increase the durability of the wheels. It can still be re-centred several times without any problems, this adhesive strength will only slightly decrease. The connection between spoke and nipple cannot loosen by itself.
