The Scamp MIPS Kids Helmet by Giro - Easily adjustable with high protection

The Giro Scamp kids helmet protects the youngest cyclists with MIPS and an In-Mold helmet shell. It can be adjusted to the head circumference in the blink of an eye. The Roc Loc Junior system has a large turn dial that can be easily operated even by the smallest children. Eight ventilation openings provide pleasant air circulation.

In-Mold Construction
The polycarbonate outer shell is glued to the EPS inner shell, which increases the resistance of the helmet. It also makes it easier to shape vents, which means that In-Mold designs typically have better ventilation systems and a lighter weight.

MIPS
MIPS stands for " Multi Directional Impact Protection System" and refers to a movable protection layer consisting of three components: an EPS liner and low-friction liner, which are then connected by an elastomeric fastening system. This layer protects the brain from oblique impact. The principle of the natural low-friction layer of the brain is adapted in order to minimise the forces that occur.

Roc Loc Junior
The Roc Loc Junior fit system has been specially designed for the smaller head sizes of children. A large, rubberised knob makes it easy for adults to adjust the size.
