The standard in a trail-ready spec: Minion DHF TR3C MaxxGrip EXO Protection folding tyre by Maxxis
The Minion DHF was designed for the often loose and muddy conditions of aggressive all-mountain terrain. The DHF incorporates ramped knobs for low rolling resistance and channel-cut knobs to increase gripping edges, giving straight-line control and precise cornering.
Note from the manufacturer: refrain from using ammonium based tyre sealant. After a few months, the ammonium weakens the tire's carcass by 30 %.

Maxxis 3C Triple Compound mountain technology uses a harder, longer lasting base layer and two progressively softer top layers in order to optimize traction and stability.
A new name for the downhill 3C compound configuration that you have come to know and trust. 3C MaxxGrip offers the ultimate in grip and slow rebound properties for unparalleled traction in downhill applications.
An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tyres. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tire remains unaffected. Choose EXO Protection for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the chance of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high.
Wide Trail (WT):
WT construction optimizes the tyre's tread layout and profile on today's modern wider rims. Traditional tires are designed around older, narrower rims and can create an overly square tire profile, leading to less than optimal performance. WT tyres are optimized for a 35 mm inner rim width, but are proven to work over a range from 30-35 mm inner rim widths, depending on the rider's preference.
