Magi-X DH
Rubber compound specially developed for Downhill use. It stands for maximum grip in wet and dry conditions, regardless of temperature. Magi-X DH technology offers the best grip in the Michelin range.
Bead to Bead Protection
This technology consists of a cross-woven, high density (HD) protective ply that encases and protects the entire tyre carcass - tread centre and shoulders. As a result, the tread centre and shoulders are reinforced so that the tyre offers excellent puncture protection and long life.
Michelin tyres equipped with Bead to Bead Protection are specially designed for demanding riders looking for the best possible compromise between puncture resistance, durability and weight.
Pinch Protection
Pinch Protection is a reinforcement in the bead area to reduce the effects of bottoming out and prevent punctures.
High Density Puncture Protection
Puncture protection reinforcement, which offers optimal protection against punctures.
Low Pressure Reinforcement
Reinforcement of the overall structure, which allows riding with high lateral stability despite low air pressure. This also improves the protection against snake bites at low air pressure.
Tubeless Ready
These tyres can also be ridden tubeless if a tubeless rim (UST) is used and the maximum inflation pressure indicated on the tyre sidewall is not exceeded. You also need an appropriate sealant and the tyre inflation pressure should be checked before every ride.
E-Bike Ready (up to 25 km/h)
For normal pedelecs and E-bikes with pedal assistance up to 25 km/h, the legislator does not prescribe special tyres. But even these bikes have higher loads and average speeds than normal bikes, so Michelin has reinforced tyres with this mark for maximum performance and speed with additional rubber.
