The Shimano 10-speed Chainring for FC-T521 Cranks

This Shimano chainring is compatible with the FC-T521 3x10-speed touring crank. It can be combined to form the 24-32-44 and 26-36-48 gradations. In line with the Shimano HyperDrive concept, it contributes to a reliable, fast shifting function in combination with the chain and front derailleur.

Note:: The 24 teeth chainring (Y-1N098010) is identical to the FC-M522 chainring. The 26 teeth chainring (Y-1ME98030) is identical to the FC-M391 chainring.

Note to Type Designation:

The type designation (one or two characters) helps identify the compatibility of various chainrings with other chainrings. Because the larger chainrings have specially-formed teeth and upward shifting assistance, only particular smaller chainrings will match to ensure proper shifting performance. An XY chainring should only be combined with another XY chainring. This applies to all other types as well.

Bei einer 3er Kurbel ist das 36iger Blatt nur in der Mitte verwendbar. Passt auch mit 11 Gang Kette.

Wegen der Oberfläche auf der Steighilfenseite, kann man das Kettenblatt nicht als größtes Kettenblatt an einer 3er Pendix Kurbel (ganz außen) verwenden. Es kann also wirklich nur auf der Nicht-Steighilfen-Seite mit einer Kurbel verschraubt werden. Bei SRAM und Truvativ das selbe.
Wäre schön gewesen, weil ich wegen meines (unschönen) Rahmens kein 36iger Blatt in die Mitte und auch kein 44iger außen verwenden kann, das würde am Rahmen schleifen.

Habe das Y-1NL98010 (Stahl/Composite) als Ersatz für ein Y-1LV98080 (aus den MTB-Gruppen FC-M590-10 / FC-M660-10 / FC-M770-10) gekauft, da es 3€ günstiger ist.
Der Grund für den Preisunterschied ist wohl, daß dem Y-1LV98080 noch minimal kürzere Kettenblattmuttern beiliegen, die aufgrund von Ansenkungen in den Löchern nötig sind (mit "normalen" Muttern bekäme man es nicht fest). Und das ist der einzige Unterschied (Y-1NL98010 nicht angesenkt), die Steighilfen usw. sind absolut identisch.

Verbaut habe ich dieses Blatt an einer Shimano XT Kurbel FC-T781. Entgegen vieler anderer Seiten ist es aus Stahl, was für viele die Ihre kette bis zur 0,1mm Längung bei Stahl anstatt der nur 0,75mm bei Alu fahren möchten sinnvoll ist.
Ich habe Tagelang Google bemüht um rauszufinden ob das Deore Kettenblatt an die XT Kurbel passt, ja es passt.

Verbaut habe ich dieses Blatt an einer Shimano Kurbel FC-T551. Das 36 Zahn AL Kettenblatt ist nicht wie hier abgebildet Silber sondern schwarz. Entgegen vieler anderer Seiten (hier richtig) ist es aus Stahl, was für alle die Ihre kette bis zur 0,1mm Längung bei Stahl anstatt der nur 0,75mm bei Alu fahren möchten eine gute Wahl und sehr günstig. Alle anderen passenden Kettenblätter der FC-M670, FC-M660-10, FC-M780 oder das original Ersatzritzel der FC-T551 in 36 AL sind viel teurer und eben aus Alu.
