Grab the Shimano GRX BR-RX400 + ST-RX600 / BL-RX600 brake set (front + rear) if you are a 1x11 Gravel rider. On the right, the GRX ST-RX600 shift/brake lever(Dual Control Technology) with anti-slip lever surface is used; its shape has been adapted to the ergonomic requirements of Gravel riding. The smooth shift function has been taken from the Shimano top-lever groupsets.
On the left you mount the Shimano GRX BL-RX600 brake lever. It also has a Gravel-specific lever with anti-slip texture and a special ergonomic design. This gives you even better control over your bike off-road.
The GRX BR-RX400 brake calipers follow the flat-mount design that has proven itself in recent years as the standard for Road disc brakes because of its user-friendliness. They convince through excellent heat management and simple setup.

Shimano Total Integration (STI) means the combination of braking and shifting functions in one lever, which increases safety when riding. By refining the technology, it became possible to make shifting so smooth at the front and rear that they can be triggered with just one finger. Shimano calls such levers Dual Control Levers (DCL).

One Way Bleeding
One Way Bleeding is a technique used on Shimano calipers that facilitates brake bleeding. The hose routing has been optimised so that no air bubbles remain in the brake calliper. In combination with the funnel, the brake can be bled cleanly and easily.
