Functions:

Pulse measurement on the wrist:
Thanks to the high-quality PPG sensor (photoplethysmography), the heart rate can be conveniently measured at the wrist. Light is radiated onto the skin and a sensor measures the reflection of the light. To avoid measurement errors, the watch should be centred on the arm and 2 cm from the wrist. The PPG can deviate by +/- 5 strokes compared to the chest strap. For ECG-accurate heart rate measurement you can alternatively use a chest strap.

Seven pre-installed sports profiles:
On the iD.FREE, you'll find six popular profiles: cycling, running, swimming, hiking, fitness, and skiing. In addition, the seventh OTH profile can be individually configured so that you can cover all sports with the fitness watch.

GPS measurement:
During the integration of the GPS measurement, great importance was attached to the highest accuracy with the lowest possible power consumption. Parameters such as speed and distance can be recorded precisely and in a power-saving manner.

3-axis compass:
With the integrated compass, the current direction of movement is always precisely determined. In addition, it supports the GPS so that the direction of movement is correctly aligned even when the GPS signal is weak or stationary. So you can orientate yourself with the compass clock at any place on earth.

Barometric Altimeter:
For precise determination, the sensor measures the temperature in addition to the prevailing air pressure at the measuring point. A manual calibration at the outdoor clock is therefore no longer necessary.

Accelerometer:
The integrated acceleration sensor measures steps and distance and detects the step frequency, sleep phase or swimming style. If you turn off the GPS
(e.g. on the treadmill), speed and distance can be determined via the sensor.

Smart Light:
The Smart Light of iD.FREE simplifies your sports experience in an innovative way, because it supports you with optical cues. So you know even without looking at the display when you have to take a turn during your tour. In addition, the Smart Light lights up for smart notifications and shows you during training whether you are in your defined target zone.

Crash alert:
The iD.FREE automatically detects a fall and gives you 30 seconds to confirm that you are okay. If not, the watch informs your emergency contacts via SMS. In addition, the multisport watch displays your most important health data and your current GPS position.

Track and komoot navigation:
Create a track and upload it to the GPS multisport watch via the DATA CENTER or the SIGMA LINK app. In addition, you can mark individual POIs on your track, which then appear as a note on the display as soon as you reach the point. Together with the komoot app the iD.FREE takes over the navigation of your planned routes. The turning instructions are displayed directly on the outdoor watch and optically supported by the Smart Light. So your smartphone can stay in your pocket.

Target zone training:
Define your personal target zone according to various parameters such as heart rate or speed. Smart Light and target zone display give you information about the current status at any time. So you can control your training optimally.

Display:
In the DATA CENTER or SIGMA LINK app you can create six training views with up to three values for the iD.FREE. So you always have your most important values directly in view. In addition to pure data fields, the smartwatch also creates a height profile or shows you the current weather trend.

Personal Best:
Your personal best times in each discipline will be displayed directly after the training. If you set a new record, you will receive a virtual trophy after the training with the achieved values.

Evaluations on the watch:
The iD.FREE analyses your training units and activities and compares them with those of the last weeks.

Smart Notifications:
Thanks to the Smart Notification function you will always stay up-to-date. The iD.FREE discreetly displays calls and messages on your smartphone via vibration and Smart Light.

Activity tracking:
The fitness watch counts your steps, calories and distances, measures your heart rate and
monitors your sleep phases and sleep duration at night.

Exergames:
To integrate movement and fun into everyday life, the iD.FREE includes four different Exergames. These should stimulate fun during a sports activity. A special highlight is the direct connection to Geocaching.com, so that the iD.FREE is optimally equipped for the next GPS treasure hunt
