The Tubeless Booster bymilKit - Your On-the-Go Compressor Pump

The milKit Tubeless Booster is a water bottle-sized tyre pump that allows you to carry a small compressor in your bottle cage on trips.
To inflate a tubeless tyre, a huge air blast is necessary to quickly press the tyre bead into the rim flange and seal the tyre. With a conventional air pump, this works - depending on the tyre and rim combination - rather rarely. Compressors are often used for this purpose, which can be found at petrol stations or in workshops. To make this possible on the road without a compressor, milKit now offers the Tubeless Booster. A special advantage: the bottle can also be used as a drink bottle.

Here's how it works: Before you start your bike tour, fill the Tubeless Booster with air using your normal pump. To do this, screw the booster head onto the milKit drinking bottle, pump the pump head of your air pump onto the SV valve of the booster head, pump up to max. 11 bar and your compressor-To-Go is ready.
In the event of a flat tyre, remove the valve core, place your milKit Tubeless Booster on your valve and operate the quick release valve. Immediately, the air is distributed evenly and the tyre sits firmly on the rim - usually with the typical loud crackling sound.

Für alle die auf Tubeless umrüsten wollen aber keine neue Standpumpe kaufen wollen, ist das Teil eine super und kostengünstige Alternative. Hab damit schon einige Räder auf Tubeless umgerüstet und hat immer funktioniert. Man könnte meinen das das Luftvolumen zu klein ist aber es reicht soweit das der Reifen halbwegs sitzt und für den Rest, falls es noch nicht geploppt hat, einfach die normale Standpumpe nehmen bis alles sitzt und dicht ist. Und alternativ kann man die Flasche auch als Wasserreserve nutzen. In der Konstellation klare Kaufempfehlung.

Even though I've heard good things about the milKit booster I was very surprised by how much air flows when pressing it on the valve (with the valve core removed from the valve) and how easy it is to use. The cool thing then is that the milKit valves keep the air in the tire without the valve core installed so I can add the sealant with my milKit syringe without any problems.
In the beginning I had some difficulties understanding how to use the system properly so I contacted their support and received a nice answer very fast.

I don't use the booster as a water bottle, it's just a tool for my workshop for me but others might appreciate how light it is.
