The 3min19sec Chainrunner is a tube-like full chain guard that is placed around the chain and then runs with it. It is suitable for all types of bikes that are equipped with hub gears. The flexible, slotted corrugated tube of the Chainrunner is light but at the same time enormously stiff and thus offers secure protection on the one hand for the chain and on the other hand for your clothes from the dirt of the chain. The Chainrunner itself is easy to clean by wiping. You also benefit from this chain guard when maintaining or folding a folding bike, because your hands stay clean.

Note from the manufacturer:

Not suitable for derailleur bikes. An additional chain guard is recommended to prevent the pant legs from getting caught. Care must be taken to ensure an ideal chainline. In order to avoid noise or even grinding damage to the hub shell, ensure sufficient side and bottom clearance, also by choosing a sprocket that is not too small (at least 16 teeth).
