When riding, the basket has no negative effect on the riding characteristics due to the semi-circular bent frame. The lid can be opened completely and stored in the basket in good weather. If you ride into a rain shower, it will be closed again in no time. For your valuables there is a separate inner compartment with a zipper, so your keys do not hide between purchases. Since the basket is on the handlebars, you can keep an eye on it at all times. With or without a key, for e-bike or not - the new range of adapters is sure to have the right mount for your purposes.
