The Rohloff Oil of Speedhub 500/14 oil set for the maintenance of internally geared hubs

The Oil of Speedhub 500/14 oil set from Rohloff contains cleaning oil and all-season oil for your internally geared hub. To ensure that it runs smoothly and without defects for a long time, you should change the oil every 5000 kilometres or once a year. Use the cleaning oil to remove abrasion and any water that may have penetrated the internally geared hub, and top up the gear oil to ensure that your drivetrain runs smoothly and quietly.
If you need a syringe and hose to fill the hub as well as oil, take a look at the oil change kit from Rohloff.

Note:

Only Rohloff oils (gear oils/cleaning oils) may be filled into the Rohloff Speedhub 500/14. Filling with other liquids or additives can cause damage to transmission parts (e.g. plastic parts).

Application:

Extensive tests by Rohloff in everyday life and on longer rides have shown that half the amount of gear oil recommended until 2023 is sufficient to ensure consistently good performance of the internally geared hub, no matter how old the drivetrain is or how far you have already ridden. For this reason, and in the interests of sustainability and conservation of resources, the quantity of Speedhub Oil all-season oil in the set has been reduced.

• 25 ml cleaning oil + 12.5 ml gear oil, sufficient for 1 oil change
• 250 ml cleaning oil + 125 ml gear oil, sufficient for 10 oil changes
• 1 litre cleaning oil + 500 ml gear oil, sufficient for 40 oil changes
