The oval Rotor 2x SRAM AXS 4-arm Spider Mount chainring with 110 mm bolt circle brings the advantages of a chainring manufactured with a lot of know-how of your AXS gear. It can be mounted on Rotor ALDHU, VEGAST and other cranks if a suitable spider (e.g. INSpider power meter) is used. The chainring is CNC machined from ultra-light aluminium and improves shifting efficiency thanks to an optimised tooth profile. The OCP Mount technology provides almost unlimited adjustment possibilities.

CNC machining (CNC = Computer Numerical Control) ensures a precise and uniform production process. This is particularly important when manufacturing components that function properly and must work together with the other parts. Thanks to state-of-the-art CNC equipment, Rotor parts are manufactured with extreme precision down to a hundredth of a millimetre.
Biomechanical studies show that Q-rings provide better performance than conventional chainrings. The effect is achieved by the fact that the largest muscle groups in the legs achieve a greater effect and the dead centre is eliminated when pedalling. This results in a much softer and consistent ride, with less muscle fatigue. The biggest advantages of using Q-rings are the significant improvement in overall fitness through improved stroke, greater sprinting ability through the elimination of the dead centre, slower muscle fatigue and, ultimately, increased cardiovascular endurance for athletes.
A submaximal test followed by a time trial over a distance of 1 km proved that the Q-rings reduce heart rate and oxygen consumption while improving performance by 1.6 seconds compared to round chainrings.
Optimum Chainring Position (OCP) stands for the various settings that Rotor Q-Rings offer to adapt to the rider's specific pedalling characteristics. Q-Rings have up to 5 OCPs (Road) or up to 3 OCPs (MTB). These positions help to optimise your pedalling behaviour.
You can determine your OCP if you know your optimal chainring angle (OCA), which you can determine by a Torque 360 step analysis with the user software of Rotor 2INPower and INPower.
