Everyone knows that Shimano belongs to the cycling world immediately when they hear its name! Something that, for the time, was pioneering innovation. In 1961, they presented a 3-speed hub at the International Toy and Cycle Show held in New York City. Shimano drivetrains are today still the core competency of the brand. They developed another milestone in 1988: the first clipless pedals.
