SH-GR501 Gravity Shoes by Shimano - Support, protection, comfort and style


SH-GR501 platform pedal shoes by Shimano, called GR5 for short, inspire Gravity mountain bikers with good fit and protective function as well as comfort and style. They are made of durable synthetic leather uppers with breathable mesh inserts and feature grippy rubber soles that provide grip on both the pedal and ground. Both the toe and ankle areas have been extra reinforced. In addition, thanks to their ergonomic lasts, these shoes are very comfortable to wear even on hour-long rides.

It looks nice but... I bougth this shoes in winter sales, but I started to use it in the end of the spring only. I used it for 10 times only and after that short using the sole is going to separate from the upper. The black part on the nose was broken. I tried to claim it in warranty but they said it is normal. I use five tens over 10 years but I want to try something new but I'm really disappointed in this shoes and brand. The sole isn't sticky and it bends a lot on the pedal. It is bit narrow than the five tens. If you want to use a good mtb shoe, you should to choose another brand not the shimano.
