The SH-GR501, GR5 for short, is a women's specific platform pedal shoe from Shimano, which inspires gravity mountain bikers with a good fit and protective function as well as comfort and style. It is made of robust synthetic leather upper with breathable mesh panels and has a grippy rubber sole that provides hold on both pedal and ground. Both the toe and ankle areas have been extra reinforced. In addition, thanks to the expanded volume in the ball of the foot, the shoes are very comfortable even on hour-long rides.
