Fenders & Mudguards

For our mudguard and fender comparison, we conducted multiple tests on the same track using the bc original Podsol and the bc original Flint frames. Each frame was outfitted with three different mudguard/fender configurations and tested at comparable speeds in the “best” foul weather. Our test riders made sure not to ride around puddles, only avoiding deep water when necessary. To demonstrate the difference in protection each mudguard provides, our riders used a fresh test suit after each round.
