The GR40 by BEAST Components is a gravel wheelset for race-oriented gravel bikers. The 40 mm high carbon rims shine with excellent aerodynamics. Thanks to the reinforced rim flange, you can ride wide tyres with low pressure without any issue. DT Swiss Center Lock hubs guarantee you absolute control, both on and off paved roads.

Hab diesen Laufradsatz nun eine Weile im Einsatz.
Sieht sehr gut aus, fährt sich super und macht auch Offroad eine sehr gute Figur.
Einziges Manko, Seitenwind ist nicht so der Freund dieser Beast’er aber das Problem haben alle mit der Felgenhöhe.
Hochwertig und sauber verarbeitete Laufräder, Made in Germany was will man mehr.
Kann sie absolut empfehlen und würde sie wieder kaufen.
Für die Graveler unter uns die gerne mit viel zu viel Gepäck auf große Abenteuer gehen, sie stemmen jedes Gewicht und haben laut Hersteller kein Gewichtslimit.

Ich kenne keinen wertigeren Laufradsatz als diesen. Die Verarbeitung und Optik der Felgen suchen ihresgleichen.
Auch die Aufkleber liessen sich problemlos entfernen.
Was mir aufgefallen ist, dass die neuen EXP Naben ein deutlich lauteres Freilaufgeräusch haben als meine anderen DT Swiss Ratchet Naben. Zudem ist der Klang gleichmäßiger (kein eierndes Geräusch mehr).
Wer einen hochwertigen Laufradsatz Made in Germany sucht wird hier fünfig.
