Combining Campagnolo with Shimano: the Shiftmate 4 by Jtek Engineering

The Jtek Shiftmate adapts the transmission ratios of incompatible shift components to each other. The shifter cable runs through the Shiftmate, which uses a special shifting wheel to change the cable ratio and match the shift levers. You don't compromise when you use a Shiftmate. The shifting process will work just as well as with original shifting components or even better.
Shiftmate 4 lets you combine older Campagnolo 8-/9-speed components (pre 2001) with Shimano 8-/9-speed components and newer Campagnolo 11-speed with Shimano 10-speed components.

Note from the manufacturer:

• all Shimano rear derailleurs (Road up to 10-speed, MTB up to 9-speed) work the same, except Dura Ace 8-speed. However, you must consider the width of the cage. Avoid riding with a narrower cage with a wider chain.
• Campagnolo levers and derailleurs as of 2001 are not compatible with older versions.
