The Fork-Pack Fork Bag by ORTLIEB - More space for bikepacking

The ORTLIEB Fork-Pack fork bag with a volume of 4.1 litres is lightweight, quick to assemble and opens up storage space on your fork when bikepacking. With the QLS system (Quick-Lock S), you can securely attach the adapter plate to the screw mounts of the rigid fork or to tubes with a constant diameter between 30 and 42 mm - for example, to suspension forks. The fork bag is attached in no time at all and you are ready to go. It is waterproof and made of robust nylon fabric, the practical roll closure ensures quick access to the contents.

Note:
To achieve protection class IP 64 (splash-proof from all directions), the closure must be rolled 3-4 times and attached downwards.

Note from the Manufacturer:

Warning: Not suitable for mounting on carbon forks without braze-on eyelet (thread) or conical tubes.
To achieve the IP64 degree of protection (6 = dust-tight, 4 = splash-proof from all directions), the closure must be rolled up 3 to 4 times over.
If the product is completely submerged, water can penetrate through the closure.

Quick-Lock-S Adapter System
The Quick-Lock S adapter system was developed to allow smaller bags to be attached to the fork using a minimalistic system. A characteristic feature is the light, compact design of the system: an adapter plate is either mounted directly to brazed-ons on the fork or attached to tubes with a diameter of 30 - 42 mm using metal straps. When installing the metal straps, it is important to ensure that the tubes have a constant diameter. The bag snaps onto the adapter plate in one easy step and can be removed just as quickly.
