A paragon of reliability: the Klamper Flat Mount Short Pull Caliper by PAUL

The PAUL Klamper Flat Mount Short Pull caliper is part of The Klamper brake series, which has now reached cult status. Like all mechanical Klamper disc brakes, it works absolutely reliable, is easy to adjust and easy to maintain. PAUL Klamper brakes are therefore increasingly seen on cyclocross bikes and in gravel use, where easy adaptability and reliability are important. Oversize ball bearings and the heat-treated steel used for the pistons are special features of The Klamper. The Flat Mount version, like the IS version, has interchangeable brake arms. They are available for Campagnolo and for SRAM/Shimano with short cable routing.

Note from the manufacturer:

The actuating arms of the Klamper Flat Mount and the Klamper IS brakes are NOT interchangeable. Recommended brake rotors are from Shimano (Ice-Tech), SRAM, Avid and most other manufacturers. With floating brake rotors, such as Hope, the rivets may be in contact with the caliper.
