The Shimano RT-EM910 brake rotor is an extremely powerful Center Lock brake rotor with an internal lockring, recommended for e-bikes with a Shimano STEPS drivetrain. Using the Ice-Tech FREEZA sandwich composite, it significantly reduces heat development and thus ensures constant braking performance. The RT-EM910 can be used with numerous disc brakes and both organic and sintered pads. A magnet for the SM-DUE11 or EW-SS301 speed sensor for the rear wheel is included.

Shimano Ice Technologies provide a fast heat dissipation at your disc brake. The brake pads are equipped with aluminium cooling fins. The brake rotor is constructed using a sandwich technique in which stainless steel encloses an aluminium core. The stainless steel on both flanks ensures long durability, the aluminium allows heat dissipation. FREEZA is the further development of the brake rotor, in which additional ribs in the aluminium provide even better heat compensation. This cooling technology creates consistently high performance and longer brake pad durability while reducing fading and brake noise.
