The Specialized Pathfinder Pro in 28" is a gravel tyre for 700C wheels which offers good grip and smooth rolling characteristics. It is equipped with the damping GRIPTON® compound providing traction when dry or wet and a fine 120 tpi carcass with double puncture protection. Due to the 2Bliss Ready Casing, the Pathfinder can even accompany you on your off-road adventures without an inner tube. This tyre is available with classic black and transparent sidewalls through which the brown core shimmers.

GRIPTON is an exclusive rubber compound for Specialized tyres, based on synthetic rubber and an activated silica compound. It was designed to filter out low and high frequencies. As the name suggests, this compound provides an outstanding amount of traction and handling in all weather conditions, but this is not its only advantage. It also dampens vibrations, rolls very well and saves weight. GRIPTON tyres are manufactured and tested in a factory operated by Specialized in Vietnam.
