The Specialized Turbo Tero 4.0 EQ is an e-bike with step-through design and equipment for city traffic, which can also be used off-road thanks to RockShox suspension fork and comfortable 29-inch tyres. The riding experience begins as soon as you get on and off the bike, as the step-through frame design allows for a comfortable low step-in. The integrated light system, fenders and pannier rack, which can carry up to 27 kg, equip the bike for everyday use. With the powerful motor and the 710 Wh battery, your pedalling power is tripled. This increases your capacity for longer tours, steeper climbs or additional loads from items such as a kids trailer. The MTB equipment with suspension fork, four-piston disc brake, lowerable seatpost and 2.35" wide tyres afford you control when you leave the city streets. The MasterMind Turbo Control colour display shows all important riding data. You can also use it to adjust ride mode settings and pair it with sensors and other devices. Fine-tuning the pedal assist in 10% increments is also possible. Many other parameters, such as battery management, can be adjusted via the Mission Control app from Specialized. To deter thieves, you can also deactivate the motor in the app so that it can only be unlocked again with your personal PIN. Incidentally, the battery hidden in the down tube can be locked or removed without tools in just two steps. Technology:

E-Bikes by Specialized
Specialized e-bikes are designed in California and developed with Swiss technology. They take the " It's you, only faster" approach, which means that you have the impression of riding a " normal" bike without motor assistance, but with at least twice as much power. Specialized e-bikes are characterised by a particularly quiet, smooth running electric drive. Due to two special freehub bodies, the crankset and motor shaft are decoupled from each other in such a way that no additional pedalling resistance occurs when the motor is switched off (at speeds above 25 km/h). The battery of Specialized electric bikes is aesthetically and well protected integrated in the down tube. An innovative Battery Management System (BMS) is used to maximise battery life and protect the cell structure.

Micro Tune
The remote button can be used to increase motor support and peak power in 10% increments. This results in less-drastic changes when alternating from Trail to Turbo, for example. This gives you certain advantages when riding in groups, as it allows you to adapt better. In addition, fine adjustments save battery power and thus increase your riding range.
