The Direto XR Trainer with up to 24% Simulated Incline

The Elite Direto XR Trainer with direct drive is compatible with both road and MTB bikes and simulate a full 24% incline, which will improve your climbing skills during indoor training. Thanks to measurable parameters such as power, cadence and speed, you get an informative overview of your training condition. So that you can start off right away, the trainer comes prepared with a cassette, which means you only have to unclamp your rear wheel and clamp on your bike. I am very happy with the trainer.
A good price for a high-end trainer, incl cassete,QR,bushings and frontwheel stand.

I am happy with the trainer and with the bike-components service.

It was possible to reserve the trainer before it came into stock, so I didn't had to check the website every time for delivery (since trainers are quite scarce this time of the year) . That was very handy. They reacted also quick on my questions.

I changed trainers, from wheelbased Tacx Vortex 2180 to this direct drive Elite XR. Reasons to change were road feel and clime percentages.
According to the reviews this elite is the best buy of quality for the price levels. I have trained with it about 7 times now (1 hour or longer each time) and I am very happy with it.
It's very silent, it's easy to setup and calibrate. When peddling the trainer feels very solid, and moves in a comfortable way with the bike movement. Not too much, but enough that your bike swings in a good way to the left and right when pushing the pedals.

Also the flywheel of about 5 kg gives a good road feel. My previous trainer had a flywheel of 1,2 kg and that worked very abrupt with changes in resistance.

It's a pity I haven't been able to test the climb percentages since I have a muscle injury and cannot put much power on the pedals. But for what I have tested, the resistance is more then enough.

When connecting to the PC software I have some problems everytime, but I think it's the cyclesoftware (RGT, Bkool, FulGAZ) since it does connect immediately to my sportwatch (Garmin 735xt). It could also be my ant+ dongel that creates this problem. Still, within 1-2 minutes I am able to connect to the PC. I don't use a smartphone with cycling so no experience with that.
