The SL E.G. rim is suitable for 27.5" Gravity MTBs, i.e. Enduro and Downhill bikes. NEWMEN has designed the rim to be strong enough so that it can even withstand the higher loads of e-bikes. This is ensured by the reinforced rim flank. The Tubeless Ready rim allows driving with wide tyres and low air pressures due to the hookless design and the 30 mm rim width.

Rounded Rim Profile:
The rounded rim profile has flared rim flanges with optimised flange height and wall thickness. The wall thickness on the rim flange has been increased, in the side area reduced.
The flared rim flanges shorten the distance between left and right rim flange, which saves material and weight. The tyre can also take on a rounder shape, improving comfort and cornering grip.
